Section: About me
Who am I?
I am
Wei-Chen Chen (wccsnow @ gmail.com),
and
this is my webpage including my curriculum vitae, research,
work, presentations and some personal stuff.
I am also the maintainer of three other websites.
-
HPSC
is ``High Performance Statistical Computing for Data Intensive Research''
which includes
tricks of Parallel Computing in Statistics. Currently, it focuses on
MPI and Rmpi for analyzing ultra-large data in
a distributed manner.
-
Phyluclustering
is ``Phylogenetic Clustering'' which includes a novel statistics method
combining phylogenetics and model-based clustering, and
aiming to group long and large amounts of aligned DNA and SNP sequences
in perspective of mutation processes.
This website has about 468 visits from
219 cities /
47 countries
based on
Google Analytics
(2010-2011).
-
R_note
is ``The Exploration of Statistical Software R'' which includes tons of
tricks of R especially combining with C and Fortran,
and vice versa.
This website is listed by
R project,
and has about 29,145 visits from
5,195 cities /
144 countries
based on
Google Analytics
(2007-2011).
Personally, I prefer to note down some techniques and concepts
that I may apply but unable to
memorize, and I favor the notes with clear and accessible examples.
I also like to think, try and revise ideas in different ways.
